Argentine prosecutors have requested an arrest warrant for Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei over his alleged involvement in the 1994 bombing of the AMIA Jewish center in Buenos Aires. Khamenei, who ascended to his position in 1989, was Iran’s leader at the time of the attack. An Argentine court ruled last April that Iran and Hezbollah were behind the attack.
