Argentina’s biggest renewables generator Genneia upped 2025 expansion capex guidance to US$315mn from US$275mn. The move comes after the firm announced the start of construction of the US$110mn San Juan province solar PV park San Juan Sur. The project is among three solar initiatives underway that will add 490MW of installed capacity to Genneia’s portfolio by the end of 2026.The three plants will ramp up the company’s generation capacity.
