Argentine President Javier Milei and his French counterpart Emmanuel Macron pledged to sign a strategic alliance to promote investment and financing for the mining of critical minerals such as copper and lithium, while also promoting Argentina’s nuclear plan. While France needs to import key minerals for its own energy transition, Argentina could benefit from the European country’s experience in nuclear energy.
