In this new scenario, energy and mining are emerging as key drivers of Argentine export growth , according to the IMF’s latest report. In 2024 alone, Argentina recorded an energy surplus of US$6 billion, and the sector is projected to contribute up to 0.5 percentage points of annual GDP by 2030. Given this context, the August Argentina Energy Week Summit & Exhibition 2025 will be the key forum to analyze whether the “Milei model” can sustain—and scale—Argentina’s energy transformation.
