Argentina’s state-run energy giant YPF SA is moving forward with a $2.5 billion pipeline project crucial for exporting crude oil from the vast Vaca Muerta shale formation in Patagonia, Bloomberg reported. YPF secured environmental approval for the Vaca Muerta Sur pipeline and is seeking bids for construction.YPF is also exploring partnerships for a liquefied natural gas plant and is also investing in expanding existing facilities on the Atlantic coast to increase crude export capacity.
