
Argentina will be the only G20 country whose economy will contract in 2024 – this is the assessment of the Moody’s ratings agency, which predicts a contraction in economic activity of five percent this year. The new forecast is a doubling of the pessimism issued by the credit rating, research, and risk analysis firm in November last year, when it saw a 2.5-percent decline during the first year of Javier Milei’s term.
