Pilots from Aerolíneas Argentinas have announced they plan to strike on June 10. Travel to and from Argentina is likely to be disrupted during the planned stoppages. “We’re raising this dispute primarily over salary guidelines, breaches of contractual obligations, and a few other issues.” After taking office in 2023, the Javier Milei administration moved towards privatizing Aerolíneas. The airline cut around 15% of its staff, including 85 senior managers, reducing its overall workforce by 1,600 people.
