Senators have begun debating President Javier Milei’s flagship bill, known as Ley Bases. In addition to the state, economic, labor, and pension reforms included in the bill, a fiscal package will be voted on separately. Thousands of people are expected to protest the bills in the streets outside Congress during the session.
