Telecom Argentina’s investments in the first half fell 1.8% year-on-year to 225 billion pesos (US$240 million), excluding increases in usage rights that involve leasing contracts for sites, poles, fiber and real estate. Including usage rights, investments grew by 3.7% to 316bn pesos, or 19% of consolidated sales. Investments focused on the expansion of cable and internet services to improve speeds for customers, deployment and modernization of the 4G network and expansion of 5G.
