Steel pipe manufacturer Tenaris SA has started construction of its second wind farm in Argentina, a 94.5-MW facility in Olavarria, Buenos Aires province. Together with its first wind farm, Buena Ventura, launched in 2023 in Buenos Aires province, Tenaris’s renewable energy output will fully cover the electricity needs of its Siderca seamless pipe manufacturing facility in Campana.Tenaris said it has invested over USD 400 million in renewable energy in Argentina over the past four years as part of its global decarbonisation strategy.
